The prop was carried off following lengthy treatment during the second half of a 31-20 victory for Castres.

There were concerns that the 31-year-old had sustained a serious injury, but the Top 14 strugglers gave a positive update on his condition on Monday.

A club spokesman told Omnisport: "Reassuring news about Jeremy Hurou. Hit in the neck on Saturday during the match against Castres, Jeremy had to leave the field during the second period.

"After the first medical examinations, it turns out that he suffers from a slight sprain to the neck. His unavailability, however, remains to be determined."
