New voters' register: Biometric machine breaks down at Oda

The massive breakdown is said to have delayed the registration process.

Reports by Accra-based Starr FM confirmed the development and described it as worrying as it had stalled the process.

It said only two people have been registered over the last hour.

The Electoral Commission (EC) official at the centre has reportedly told the worried crowd a technician has been called in to help address the problem.
