Ghana ranks 56 on corruption perception index

Ghana has been ranked the 7th African country with high level of corruption in the latest Corruption Perception Index (CPI) by an anti-corruption body, Transparency International. Ghana placed 56th  out of 168 countries, 5 position improvement from last year's ranking.

I didn't kill my wife - Nana Addo

The 2016 flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Nana Akufo-Addo has denied a newspaper publication that he killed his first wife Obaa Yaa Nkansah Dwamena. Nana Addo in a statement described the Daily Post publication as “vile, repugnant and tasteless fabrication” which must be ignored.

Health Officials in the Volta region have stepped up surveillance of Meningitis following suspected cases of the disease in the area. Seven suspected cases of meningitis have already been recorded in the Volta Region, with samples of all the cases being sent for laboratory investigations.
