Razaq Amadu, a 13-year-old, has on Saturday, drowned in a river at Chereponi in the Northern region.

Eyewitnesses say he went to the riverside with his friends to fish, something that was a weekend habit of his.He then returned to the river for a second catch after a successful catch Saturday, but slipped and fell in the river leading to his demise.
