He argued that “the mess that is being created in our country, because of the Mahama government’s incompetence, mismanagement and corruption, has to be cleared up. Our party is preparing itself for the big task this year.”

Nana Addo made these remarks when he addressed the party’s branch in Paris, France, on Saturday.

In his submission, the three-time flagbearer of the NPP said the party has concrete plans and programmes and better the lives of citizens, as well as ensure development.

Aside from the plans to develop the country, Nana Addo said the NPP has the “human resources, both at home and abroad, amongst you, that can give our country a first class government to be able to lead our country forward.”

“It is not right that in the 21st century our people are still defecating in public. It is not right. We are going to change these facts about Ghana,” he added.

He said an NPP victory in the November polls will “not be for ourselves, not for our party, but for Ghana. It’s very, very important."
