The Former National Security Coordinator said the President is aging, adding that he needs to be "extra active" to maintain a healthy lifestyle.

He made the comments in an interview with Accra-based United Television (UTV).

“I have known the president for long; he was an active, vibrant man. He is not now. Although I am old, I am fitter than the president because I walk a lot,” General Joseph Nunoo-Mensah said.

The former military capo said the president has so far had a good start to his presidency.

He also noted that the governing NPP can deliver on its electoral promises if it put in place the right measures in place.
