Kennedy Agyapong, MP for Assin Central, has accused her of corruption in the award of National Identification cards contract to Identity Management Systems.

He made the allegations after the Indian company he was representing in Ghana did not win the contract.

In a statement Saturday, Mrs Owusu-Ekuful said: “I welcome the investigations by the CID and even though I am yet to be contacted, I will cooperate with the law enforcement agencies to ascertain the truth.

“A strong message needs to be sent out to those who deliberately disseminate disinformation. I look forward to a swift resolution of this matter.”
