A stunning first-half display at Suncorp Stadium put the Panthers on their way to a second win on the bounce that sees them well in the hunt for a top-eight finish.

The tone was set when Waqa Blake raced clear to score the opening try inside the opening 10 minutes.

James Fisher-Harris' determined run resulted in a second score and, after Nathan Cleary had kicked a penalty, there was a first NRL try for Zak Hardaker on the stroke of half-time.
