Danny Welbeck and family build school in Ashanti region hometown

The 26-year-old striker is on vacation with his family in his native hometown Nkawie ahead of his return to his club Arsenal for pre-season.

Danny Welbeck following speculations that he is in his native country Ghana has finally tweeted on his his official Twitter handle to confirm it and posted a picture of a school his family have built at Nkawie to support education in the country.

Danny Welbeck and his family were supported by the St Andrew Church Droylsden, Manchester to establish the school in the Ashant region,

The name of the school is the St Paul's Sunshine preparatory school.
