Asamoah Gyan gears up for new season

Black Stars captain Asamoah Gyan has started preparations toward the upcoming Chinese Super League season.

The Ghanaian player joined his Shanghai SIPG teammates for their pre-season training after spending some time off after last season in his homeland.

The former Al Ain striker could not hit the heights he reached with the Arabian club in China last season due to injuries.

The player is however determined to work hard and push for the top with Shanghai SIPG.

Shanghai SIPG is currently in Spain preparing for the season ahead.
