Bernard Mensah stars as Vitoria lose to Fenerbahce

Ghana star, Bernard Mensah was in action for Vitoria Guimaraes as they lost by 3-1 to Turkish giants, Fenerbahce on Saturday in a pre-season friendly.

Two goals from Senegalese striker, Moussa Sow and another from Ferandao was enough to see the Turkish side over power their Portuguese opponents as both teams prepare for qualification slots in the Champions and Europa Leagues.

Mensah who is expected to depart Vitoria during the transfer window, started the game as he showed flashes of the form that has seen him become one of the most touted young stars of the last season.

He has been linked to Benfica,Valencia and Monaco and a decision is expected to be made on his future before the club play their first Europa League game against Austrian side, Altach on July 30.
