Wales centre Scott Williams will make his return from a seven-month injury absence for Scarlets' crucial Pro12 encounter at Dragons on Saturday.

Centre Williams has been out of action since sustaining serious knee ligament damage in Wales' victory over England at the Rugby World Cup last September.

However, Williams – who has 34 Wales cap – is included in Scarlets' starting XV for this weekend's clash at the Principality Stadium.

Scarlets have lost their past two league fixtures and are in need of a win to boost their hopes of reaching the play-offs.

In December, Williams signed a new contract with Scarlets that ties him to the club until at least 2018.
