Professor Jane Naana Opoku Agyeman has accepted the nomination to be the Vice Presidential candidate of John Mahama, flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress.

The former president announced his selection of Prof. Agyeman earlier today.

In a letter accepting the nomination, Prof. Naana Agyeman, who is a former Minister of Education, has shown gratitude to John Mahama and the leadership of the NDC.
She also pledged her commitment to the party in the bid to annex power in the 2020 general elections.
