Rams owner Stan Kroenke is excited about the franchise's move back to Los Angeles. "We're going to bring Super Bowls here," he said.

Stan Kroenke is ready for the Rams' adventures in Los Angeles to begin.

Met with applause and cheers, the Rams owner expressed his excitement at the franchise returning to Southern California.

"It's quite a privilege," Kroenke said in a press conference with Inglewood Mayor James T. Butts. "We're looking forward to moving ahead with this.

"It’s been a long road, but we made it. We're going to have some fun."

The organization made its first formal appearance as the Los Angeles Rams on Friday after spending 21 years in St. Louis.

Before the 1994 move, the Rams were located in Los Angeles for 49 years.

"Sure, it's emotional," Kroenke said, appearing to tear up. "I have a home here and I love the area. It's a lot to take in, and we haven't been able to enjoy the fun stuff yet.

"We're going to bring Super Bowls here."

For the upcoming season, the team will play in the Coliseum downtown, where it played from 1946-79. A new 80,000-seat stadium built in Inglewood should be ready for the 2019 season.

On Monday the team will start selling tickets for 2016 with prices comparable to ticket costs in St. Louis.
