Tray Walker was just beginning his NFL career, but died on Friday at the age of 23.

Walker was seriously injured on Thursday after his motorised dirt bike struck an SUV in the Liberty City area of Miami.

His death was confirmed a day later.

"We have two sons not too much older than Tray, and we can't imagine how much his family is suffering,"??Ravens owner Steve Bisciotti said in a statement.

"This is so sad. The right words are hard to find at a time like this. As much as we can comfort Tray's mum and the rest of his family, we will."
