According to Deadline, Bruce Willis action comedy 'Red,' is in development at the NBC network.

The upcoming series will be executive produced by Jon Hoeber and Erich Hoeber, who wrote the screenplays for the films, alongside Lorenzo di Bonaventura and Mark Vahradian.

The 'Red' TV series is set to focus on the characters’ darkly hilarious struggles to survive civilian life as they simultaneously fight for and against the very organization that threw them out.”

The 2010 'Red' movie which was based on the comic book by Warren Ellis and Cully Hammer, starred Bruce Willis, Morgan Freeman, John Malkovich, Helen Mirren, Karl Urban, Mary-Louise Parker, Brian Cox, Richard Dreyfuss, Julian McMahon, and Ernest Borgnine.

An acronym for 'Retired Extremely Dangerous,' the 2010 'Red' movie brought in $200 million at the global box office, while the  2013 sequel brought in over $148 million.
