Zalgiris closed in on Top 16 qualification in the Euroleague after a 74-52 thrashing of Pinar Karsiyaka.

With the win, Zalgiris improved to 4-4 in Group C and sit third, behind only 6-1 pair Barcelona and Lokomotiv Kuban.
Pinar Karsiyaka are fifth with a 2-5 win-loss record and face an uphill battle to finish in the top four.
The Turkish team were outscored 22-14 in the first quarter and were never able to fight their way back into the contest.
Justin Carter had a team-high 13 points for Pinar Karsiyaka.
