Boakye Yiadom’s goal was his first for Red Star Belgrade in two months and he made good use of the opportunity handed him, because it was his first start since his side suffered a 4-0 mauling at Anfield against Liverpool in the UEFA Champions League.

However, Yiadom, 25 finished off from Nenad Krsticic to restore the lead for Red Star Belgrade.

Richmond Boakye Yiadom, bagged over 40 goals for club last year, but he struggled to replicate that form after joining the Chinese Super Ligue, before returning to Red Star Belgrade.

He has however, fallen down the pecking order on his return to the club
