Former President Kufuor's brother passes on

The death is reported of Professor Emeritus Francis Addo Kufuor, formerly of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).

He passed on in Kumasi at the ripe age of 90.

The deceased was the elder brother of former President John Agyekum Kufuor and ex-Defence Minister, Dr Kwame Addo Kufuor.

He was also the grandfather of Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh, Member of Parliament (MP) for Manhyia South.

According to family sources, the one-week celebration of his death would be held on Thursday, December 17, at Apagyafie – Ash-Town.
