He is said to have died at the Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital in Accra when he was rushed there after his blood sugar level shot up.

In 2016, he tied the knot with Radio Gold presenter, Valentina Ofori Afriyie.

The wedding was held in Santasi, a suburb of Kumasi and it was attended by high-ranking personalities in the radio fraternity including Kwame Sefa-Kayi.

Some journalists who know him, and have worked with him, have confirmed his demise on multiple media platforms.

The Executive Director of the West Africa for Media Foundation, Sulemana Braimah, posted on Facebook: "Hmmmmmmm. That moment when you don't know what to say. What a sad day. Owww Kaba?"
