3 NPP supporters die in gory accident

The accident occurred when the three were travelling in a Ford Escape vehicle from Drobonso to Kumawu in the Ashanti Region to meet an EC official over their eligibility to register in the just ended limited voters’ registration.

Three supporters of the opposition New Patriotic Party (NPP) in the Ashanti Region have died in a gory accident.

The NPP Ashanti Regional Organiser, Mr. Stephen Amooh who confirmed the incident to citifmonline.com said "The three were challenged during the registration so the parliamentary candidate there gave his car to convey them to the place where EC was going to meet them and on the road the car somersaulted and the three of them died and the driver also sustained severe injuries."

The NPP Ashanti Regional Organiser was however not able to indicate the exact spot where the accident occurred.
