The San Diego Chargers announced on Monday that they finally signed Joey Bosa, the number three overall selection in this year’s NFL Draft, to a four-year contract

The fully-guaranteed deal is reportedly worth $25.8 million with a $17 million signing bonus in a deal with the the largest upfront signing bonus installment in team history.

The negotiating impasse resulted from offset language and the timing of the signing bonus.

Unable to come to terms with the team since hearing his name called on draft night, Bosa has not participated in training camp. That changed on Monday when the defensive end from Ohio State arrived at Chargers Park.

“We look forward to having Joey join us and getting him prepared as quickly as possible for the 2016 season,” Chargers GM Tom Telesco said.
