Premiership leaders Saracens have bolstered their ranks by signing Glasgow Warriors lock Kieran Low on loan for the rest of the season.

The Scotland international has made only three appearances for the Pro12 champions in the current campaign, the last of which came back in early October.

Former London Irish man Low, 24, has now been given the opportunity to spend a spell with Sarries as they attempt to defend their Premiership title and eye European Rugby Champions Cup glory.

Saracens director of rugby Mark McCall said: "We are delighted to be able to bring in a player of Kieran's calibre at this point of the season.

"He is an international quality lock forward who has plenty of Premiership experience.

"With a few injuries and the expectancy that we will lose a few second row forwards during the Six Nations we are very happy to be able to bring Kieran into the group."
