Student jailed for making underskirt videos of women

A 22-year-old Vietnamese student has been jailed for three weeks on Monday for takingunderskirt videos of women in Singapore.

Nguyen Tri Dung, an undergraduate, was arrested in September 2014 and charged with four counts of insulting the modesty of women.

Dung had stuck his Samsung Galaxy mobile phone under the skirts of women in busy public areas such as post offices and MRT stations and filmed them.

On November 16, he was caught after taking two videos of a Peruvian woman at a Pasir Panjang post office.

The 27-year-old woman caught him in the act and seized his phone.

She found two underskirt videos of her in it and then seized his student pass before she called the police.
