A 55-year-old lecturer at the Takoradi Polytechnic has been allegedly murdered at Anoe, a suburb in Kojokrom in the Western region.

The deceased, Seth Dogbey popularly called Setho of the Graphic Design department at the Polytechnic is believed to have been attacked and killed at his residence Sunday morning.

According to reports, his mutilated body was found at the railway station in the area to create an impression that he had been struck by a train.

But residents who lived along the railway claim there has not been any train accident in a long while.

The body of the deceased has been deposited at the Funko mortuary at near Takoradi for autopsy.

Meanwhile, police in the Western region who confirmed the murder to Adom News said they have been investigations into the bizarre incident.

Western regional Crime Officer, Superintendent Reuben Asiwoko said they suspect foul play.
