Aduana Stars striker Richard Arhin’s match-winner was enough to worsened the woes of Hearts of Oak in the Ghana Premier League as the Phobians suffered a 1-0 defeat to the Ogya lads in a match-day 22 fixture in Dormaa on Sunday.
Berekum Chelsea handed Asante Kotoko a 3:0 pummeling at the Baba Yara Stadium.
This is the worst home league results for the Asante Kotoko in the history of the premier league.
Two goals from Kofi Owusu and another from Asiwome Fumador were enough to nail Kotoko in the coffin on Sunday at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium, Kumasi.
Kotoko didn’t waste time to attack their opponent, following the blast of the referee’s whistle, but it was Berekum Chelsea who created the first brightest opportunity of the game, when Benneth Afori in a solo effort beat his marker, before Ofori Antwi came to Kotoko’s rescue.
The Berekum lads in the 23 minute were compelled to make a substitution, when Goalkeeper Michael Sai couldn’t return into action, after he was challenged in the air by a Kotoko player and was as a result replaced by John Mosie.
The away team shot into the lead in the 30 minute  at a point Kotoko were seemingly dominating play through former Kumasi King Faisal striker, Kofi Owusu to register his 9 premier league goal of the season, after he headed home from a corner kick which came their way.
The league champions piled pressure on Berekum Chelsea in the die embers of the first half, but the latter were resilient in defence to neutralize Kotoko attack.
