Guy Noves has called Xavier Chiocci into the 31-man France squad ahead of the Six Nations meeting with Wales next weekend, with Eddy Ben Arous dropping out due to injury.

Toulon prop Chiocci is selected as a replacement for Ben Arous, who picked up a rib problem in the 10-9 victory over defending champions Ireland and will subsequently miss the trip to the Principality Stadium.

Gael Fickou sat out Saturday's win over Ireland due to personal reasons but is available once again for next Friday's match.

Francois Trinh-Duc was a surprise omission from Noves' squad for the 23-21 opening victory over Italy, but he is added to the group as Les Bleus go in search of a third straight victory.

Bernard Le Roux is also included by Noves and could make his first appearance in the 2016 competition.
