Meet the app that measures the nutritional components in your food
This app-Smartplate, is the outcome of years of research by Fitly- a new tech startup, based in Philadelphia, USA.
The nutrition app can scan and measure the amount of calories, micronutrients, trace elements, carbohydrate, fats etc, in your food.
In an interview with Gizmodo, Fitly CEO Anthony Ortiz said the “SmartPlate can currently ID whole foods with up to 99% accuracy, and mixed foods, such as turkey wraps and casseroles, with 70-90+% success.”

The app can be downloaded from the Apple and Android app stores respectively.
In an officially tweet, Smartplate says their goal is to help people live better lives, by eating smart.
