Their numbers are unknown, and often their origins.

These light-skinned child beggars can be seen though Accra.

Anyone who gets stuck in traffic around the Accra Mall, Tetteh Quarshie intersection, Circle or in Madina will be aware of these children.

The way we react to them will differ – even from each time we personally see them.
