The Wolves mounted a spectacular comeback from 30-12 down to beat Salford Red Devils in the previous round of fixtures??and they had to battle from behind to win once again in Perpignan.

Todd Carney burst through to put Catalans ahead??and, although Rhys Evans crossed the whitewash shortly after, Pat Richards converted??his own try before kicking a penalty to hand the hosts a 14-6 lead.

Stef??Ratchford showed the character that has embodied Warrington's opening displays, charging down a kick before scrambling to retain it in a move that resulted in Ben Currie going over, while Mitchell??Dodds ?????who only made his debut last week after signing from Brisbane Broncos ?????broke his tibia when making a tackle, leading to a lengthy pause??ahead of half-time.

Vincent Duport put Catalans into an eight-point lead early in the second half, but a second try for Evans sparked a brilliant comeback as the hosts grew sloppy in the latter stages.

George King,??who replaced the injured Dodds,??put Warrington ahead with four minutes remaining??despite a lack of clarity over the grounding of the ball, before??Chris Sandow rounded off the victory at the death.
