New trailer explores heroine's origin [Video]

CBS has released a new which explores Supergirl's origin.

The new teaser follows how Kara Zor-El follows in the footsteps of her famous cousin, Superman, to become Supergirl.

In theMelissa Benoist plays Kara Zor-El, who escapes the destruction on Krypton to join her cousin on Earth.

Supergirl is scheduled to debut on November 2.
