Ghanaian content creator Enoch Osei Tabiri, popularly known as Taadi Banyinba GH, has appealed for stronger institutional support for content creators as the country's digital creative industry continues to expand.

Taadi Banyinba GH made the appeal during a formal meeting with former Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia in August 2026, where he presented some of the challenges facing creators and called for greater investment in Ghana's creative and digital economy.

Among the concerns raised were limited brand opportunities, difficulties monetising content, lack of recognition, high production costs, limited access to professional equipment and inadequate institutional support.

He called for government funding, creator grants, training programmes and improved access to professional equipment. He also advocated tax incentives, better monetisation opportunities and stronger creative industry policies that would recognise content creation as an increasingly important area of Ghana's digital economy.

The engagement also highlighted the growing role of content creators in entertainment, advertising, social commentary, business promotion and the projection of Ghanaian culture.

Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and his wife, Samira Bawumia, received Taadi Banyinba GH warmly during the meeting and praised him for his creative content and his reactions to issues on social media.

Dr. Bawumia also assured Taadi Banyinba GH of his support for the creative arts industry, extending that support to content creators as part of the wider creative sector.

Other prominent personalities present at the meeting included former Majority Leader and former Member of Parliament for Suame, Hon. Osei Kyei-Mensah-Bonsu.

Taadi Banyinba GH has become a notable voice within the Western Region's growing digital content community. His involvement in initiatives aimed at bringing creators together was also evident in the Western Content Creators Seminar 2026, an initiative that brought together practitioners in the region for knowledge-sharing and discussions on the development of the local creative ecosystem. Public posts connected to the seminar identified Taadi Banyinba alongside PM Entertainment Consult in promoting the event.

His advocacy has increasingly focused on the realities confronting creators, particularly the need for greater collaboration, professional development and opportunities beyond simply producing content for social media.

For Taadi Banyinba GH, the meeting with Dr. Bawumia therefore provided an opportunity to take those concerns beyond the creator community and place them before a prominent national political figure.

As Ghana's content creation landscape continues to develop, he believes stronger institutional backing could help creators overcome financial and structural barriers, build sustainable careers and contribute more significantly to the country's creative economy.
