On 17th January, 2010, Chelsea became the third team to record their 350th Barclays Premier League win as they maintained their one-point lead at the top of the table with a 7-2 victory over Sunderland.
Only Manchester United and Arsenal had reached the landmark before Chelsea joined them with an emphatic success at Stamford Bridge.
Chelsea took a 4-0 lead at half-time through goals by Nicolas Anelka, Florent Malouda, Ashley Cole and Frank Lampard.
Michael Ballack made it 5-0 in the 52nd minute, before former Chelsea midfielder Boudewijn Zenden scored for Sunderland.
But it was a brief respite as Anelka and Lampard extended Chelsea's lead. Darren Bent got a late consolation for the Black Cats.
Chelsea scored a Barclays Premier League record 103 goals that season with a league-high goal difference of +71 as they won the title. Sunderland finished 13th.
