Accra floods after hours of rainfall

Motorists and commuters were on Monday morning stranded on their way to their various destinations following a torrential rain in Accra.

The rain, which lasted for more than five hours has flooded major streets in the capital, particularly the Graphic Road and Nkrumah Circle.

Several workers have been compelled to remain indoors as a result.
The floods have been attributed to choked gutters which are yet to be cleared.
