Umar Gul has been recalled to the Pakistan one-day international squad and the uncapped Hasan Ali has also been included for the series' against England and Ireland.

The 32-year-old paceman Gul has not played for his country in the 50-over format since April last year, but was on Tuesday named in a 15-man party for the two matches in Ireland this month and five versus England.

Seamer Hasan is in line for an international debut at the age of 22 after catching the eye for Pakistan A against England Lions and Sri Lanka A, while Mohammad Irfan has been overlooked.

Man of the moment Sami Aslam was also named in the squad after his impressive performance in the third-Test defeat against England at Edgbaston.

Opening batsman Aslam, who replaces Ahmed Shehzad, won his only ODI cap to date against Bangladesh last year.
