Inter Milan join race for Golden Eaglets star

Inter Milan have reportedly joined the race to sign Nigeria U-17 hotshot Victor Osimhen.

Osimhen finished as the highest goalscorer at the recently concluded FIFA U-17 World Cupand created history with 10 goals in seven games.

He is reportedly being pursued by a host of clubs including London rivals .

The latest club that has signified interest in the 16-year-old is Serie A giants, Inter.

Italian sports daily La Gazzetta dello Sport says Inter Milan scouts have made contact with the agents of the player regarding a contract.

The only stumbling block according to the report is that the striker does not possess an EU passport.

The striker is currently with the Nigeria U-23 team in Senegal for the Africa U-23 Africa Cup of Nations.
