Chelsea remembers Michael Essien goal against Everton

Ahead of their clash against Everton on Saturday, Chelsea have released a video to remember a wonderful goal scored by Ghana star Michael Essien in 2006 against the Merseyside side.

In that match, the Ghanaian contributed two goals with his strike against Everton late in the season showcasing his powerful style as he picked up the ball 10 metres outside the box and surged past four defenders before firing an unstoppable effort into the top corner to seal a 3-0 win.

The defending champions remain unbeaten since Guus Hiddink replaced Jose Mourinho and they will look to extend that stretch to seven games when they host Everton on Saturday afternoon.
