Is cold outside! This easy cocoa recipe will warm you up on cold days and is the perfect drink to serve at any cold-weather gathering. This white chocolate hot cocoa recipe makes a rich, chocolate cocoa that feels more like dessert. Once it's done cooking, it can hang out in the slow-cooker on the warm setting while you entertain. If you want to turn this in to an adults-only, alcoholic treat, simply add 1 ounce of coffee liquor to your cup before pouring in the cocoa.

Ingredients:

  • Coffee-flavoured liqueur, if desired (1 oz per serving)

Directions:

  • In 4-quart slow cooker, place baking chips, milk, heavy cream and vanilla.
  • Cover; cook on Low heat setting 2 to 2 1/2 hours, stirring every 30 minutes. Serve immediately, or decrease to Warm heat setting to keep hot until ready to serve.
  • Add 1 Oz coffee liquor to cup before pouring hot cocoa into cup. Top each serving with whipped cream and serve.
