Who Is Peter Weber's Mom Crying About On 'The Bachelor'? I NEED To Know
Then, theres a part where Peters mom/national treasure Barbara Weber, can be seen sobbing. "Don't let her go. Don't let her go! Bring her home. Bring her home to us!" she says between tears.
A new hometowns teaser from ABC on Monday night revealed more from Barbara. She also says, "Its what love stories are made out of, and God has placed her there for you."
Armed with this new info, Bachelor Nation still has one burning question: Who are you talking about, Barbara? WHO?!
Of course, the teasers gives fans zero answers (because, again, Bachelor), so eagle-eyed fans have to do some digging.
Heres what Bachelor Nation know so far: Right before the viewers heard the new line from Barbara, Madison Prewett explained how important her faith is to her and for her future husband. She brought it up in a sweet moment during her one-on-one with Peter. Is it possible the Bachelor producers let the new line out hoping fans would connect the faith reference to Madi? (Short answer: Probably.)
Actually, some fans were already connecting those dots. There are theories floating around Twitter that Madi leaves voluntarily during Fantasy Suite week. One fan tweeted : "My prediction, his mom is asking him to get Madison back after she leaves when she learns hes slept with the other two contestants."

Peter and Chris Harrison did an interview with Entertainment Tonight where they shared that the scene happened during the last week of filming.
"She's nominated for a Golden Globe, by the way," Chris joked about Barbaras tears. "That's the thing, Peter is so close to his parents. His parents play a big part in this as well, and their emotion and all that is captured, you're going to see it. You're going to see it all play out. It'll take your breath away."
Its easy to assume that Barbara is talking about one of Peters final women, but then theres the whole Hannah Brown stuff to consider. Fact: The former Bachelorette star made a splash in not one, but two separate episodes. Peter even said it was hard not to kiss her during their conversation, sothats a little suspicious.
That said, The Bachelor is notorious for fooling fans this way, so Hannah could totally be off, happily living her single life RN while Peter cozies up to his new flame behind the scenes. OR Hannah and Peter might totally be together thanks to a tear-filled nudge from Barbs, and all will be right with the world (go ahead, @ me).
At least, thats what it seems like Bachelor fans want. Proof:
I truly do think peter leaves with Hannah B like theres no other reason his mom is begging him otherwise #TheBachelorABC (@danieleebeckerr)
#TheBachelor conspiracy: Peters mom loves Hannah Brown. In the preview she was shown crying saying just bring her home ...what IF peter gets all the way to the end and realizes hes still in love with Hannah B and tries to chase her after all of this is over??? pic.twitter.com/4U28QYrtR1 J Mitch (@jordanmitchelI3)
Another eagle-eyed fan pointed out that Peters mom is following Hannah on Instagram (although, to be fair, parents arent always the best at unfollowing their kids' exes in a timely manner):
Peters mom is following both Hannah B and a fan account thats called teampeterhannahb. Shes also following a few other precious bachelorettes but who cares. Sara Brooke (@SaraBrooke3)
Still, you guys. STILL.
**Warning: The Bachelor season 24 spoilers ahead**
Okay, heres what fans really know so far, thanks to Bachelor spoilers from Reality Steve : Peters final two women are Madison Prewett and Hannah Ann Sluss . And, considering Madi met Barbara during the first week and they totally hit it off... her crying could (emphasis COULD) be about Madi.
That said, a new Reddit post the contents of which were verified by the moderators of "the bachelor" subreddit before it was allowed to go liveclaims that, "During hometowns, Madisons family didnt really like him [Peter] that much, especially her dad." The original poster, bachelorreddit123 , who moderators also verified is related to a producer, also said, "Hometowns really messed with Peters [sic] head, and he was constantly changing who he wanted to keep."
So... the subject of Barbara's tear-soaked plea could be Hannah Ann. Or it could simply be about the ~concept~ of Peter finding the right womanwhoever the heck that might be and whenever the heck that might happenand bringing her home.
Beyond the final two, no one outside of production knows what happened. "I know many of you were expecting all your answers to everything about the ending this season today, and I dont have them," Reality Steve wrote in a post about the finale .
Apparently, Peter doesn't propose to anyone at the end, which, whoa. But Reality Steve said Peter doesnt opt out of the whole Bachelor sitch and go after Alabama Hannah at the end either.
"Hannah Brown has nothing to do with the ending of this season. I know people are still holding out hope, and I know youll have questions about, 'Well how can he just shut off those feelings,' or 'are you sure,' and 'well what about this or this' etc.," Steve said on his blog. "All I can tell you and officially confirm today is that after you see Hannah and Peter finish up their convo on next Mondays episode, she has nothing to do with the rest of Peters season."
According to the new Reddit post, Peter's ending "is unique, but its not super dramatic or anything." In fact, the poster added it's "kinda boring."
And, regardless of who Barbara is or isn't crying about, Peter and his final woman are allegedly "very rocky right now based on how they ended up together, and based on his interactions with the other women that she is now seeing for the first time as they air."
Guess fans will just have to wait to find out who that is and who the heck Barbara is crying about... ugh.
