The former Asante Kotoko scored his first career hat-trick in his side’s 4-0 thrashing of Sekondi Hasaacas on match day 8 of the Ghana Premier League past Wednesday.

And after that wonderful display, the former Niece player says his target is the golden shoe.

"Of course, it’s one of my targets, I want to win the goal king,’’

“I want to win every award in the Premier League so the goal king is a target,” he told Happy FM.

Yaya Mohamed name was left out in the 25-man squad invited for Local Black Stars camp ahead of Japan friendly but the 29 year-old attacker says he is not unperturbed regarding Maxwell Konadu’s snub.

“No I’m not bothered, there are more matches to go and I know Maxwell will be watching.

“I have played in the Local Black Stars before so I am not worried if I was not invited this time around.

“I have to keep on working hard so that I can get myself a call up back into the team.’’

Yaya has now scored five goals in 8 games.
