Here are the legal mining sites gov't has deployed Military to protect

This is the first deployment of what will be a long-term campaign to protect mining sites and prevent illegal miners from encroaching on such concessions.

The Military and Police Service are preparing to deploy ten platoons to protect legal mining sites from the menace on Monday.

The Military is expected to provide protection for life and properties at their various sites.

A memorandum signed between the Chamber of Mines and the Ghana Armed Forces covered over 20 Companies.
