Singer breaks silence on smoking rumours

There have been rumours that the singer is a hardened smoker.

Ghanaian Afro-pop singer, Efya has finally broken silence on her smoking allegations raised against her for some time now.

But, according to the "Until The Dawn" singer, the perception that she smokes emanates from the fact that she hangs out with R2Bees who make their smoking habit public.

Speaking the ‘Delay’ show, Efya indicated people think she smokes because she is mostly around people who smoke but said that should not be a basis for accusing her of smoking.

She said “I think it is the boys".

“Paedae, R2bees -- they put it out there when they’re smoking and because of my affiliation with them and everything. But I don’t think that should be a point. I don’t think just because I hang around with people that smoke you should think that I smoke tool,” she concluded.
