Strongman humiliated on Legon campus

This was after the organisers of an Artiste Night organized by Mensah Sarbah Hall, University of Ghana truncated his performance after mounting the stage.

This was after the organisers truncated his performance.

Abrantepa.com reports that soon after performing his lines in “Trumpet” and an acapella version of his ‘Market 247’ track, Strongman kept asking the DJ to play the next track but that did not materialize.

One of the emcees subsequently approached the artiste and whispered into his ears. Strongman suddenly walked off the stage in an angry mood.

Fans who were at the show were not happy and also left.

But what could have accounted for this?

Per the rules governing activities on the University of Ghana campus, students are not to “make undue noise within the University precints. In particular, the hours between 10pm and 6am are to be regarded as hours of quiet, provided that this rule shall not apply where permission to organize a function has been granted by the Head of Hall or Dean of Students”.

As at the time Strongman mounted the stage, it was already 11pm. Some up and coming acts had already performed before his arrival on stage.

Now, many are wondering why the organisers introduced Strongman on stage when they probably knew it was time to end the show.
