When paramedics arrived at the scene on Thursday, they could not help, so West Midlands Fire Service had to be called and it cost them £650 to finally save Jay Swingler.

However, following a myriad of backlash that is hitting him from his viewers, the prankster said in another video posted on Friday that he was “in need and would have died without (firefighters).

"I'm more than happy to donate my money to the people who helped me that day.

"I should be fined just like the people who get into drunken fights and use the emergency services' time."
