Viennese Stanton’s marriage to her boyfriend was expected to take place in April 2018, but she had to convince the man to do the wedding in November this year after her father who had been battling leukemia in the hospital was unlikely to witness the wedding.

According to lttlethings.com, Viennese could simply not afford to lose the presence of her father on the big day, hence the decision to alter the original schedule just to see him walk her down the aisle.

She wrote on Facebook that “We have both dreamed of him walking me down the aisle to my groom,” therefore she could not help but to make the Dad hand her over to the groom before he passed away.

Viennese explained that “The doctors have given him only a few weeks to live so with the help of an AMAZING nurse team we were able to have a surprise wedding for my dad so he could attend.”

Interestingly, the couple were able to plan the entire marriage without the knowledge of the Oldman, just to make it a surprise to him. He was shocked to see family and friends gather at the hospital on that fateful day only to be told their mission later.

The highly elated Viennese revealed in the Facebook post why her father’s presence at her wedding was imperative.

“This was one of the best moments of my life. This man has raised me since I was 3 years old and now I get the chance to be there for him.” She said and further assured her Dad that “I love you more than you know and I am going to be by your side for every step of this process.”
