However, choosing the wrong colors or textures and applying cosmetics that are wrong for our skin, can have the opposite effect making us look tired, older and sometimes even out of place.

  • 1. Keep it Simple

If you need inspiration for the perfect daytime eye makeup, first apply a skin tone eye base to brighten my eye, apply eyeliner under the lash line to make my lashes look fuller.

You can fill in my eyebrows. The eyebrows frame your eyes, so never forget to define them. Lastly, apply several coats of mascara. It's a clean, fresh look for every day.

  • 2.  Avoid Black & Glitter

Makeup should be fun and highlight your beauty. However, if you work in a corporate or conservative setting, ‘too-much’ eye makeup is not working appropriate.

Bold lips aren’t necessarily a no-no for a daytime look, but if you want to play it safe, choose a lighter lip with a bit of shimmer.

The smokey eye is a timeless look that has stood the test of time. You don’t need to abandon this popular eye for daytime looks, but it’s smart to switch up the classic black for plums, greys, and browns for a subtler look for daytime events
