Four Chinese miners have been arrested in the Amansia area of the Ashanti Region for violating a ban of mining by the Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources.

The arrest was carried out by immigration officers and have been transported to Kumasi for further interrogation.

They are Hainan Gao, 26, Lu Qi Jun, 39, Gao Jin Cheng, 45, and Zhang Zhi Pen, 23.
