Chinese galamsey kingpin's case adjourned as interpreter is rejected

Both parties in the case rejected the Chinese interpreter.

This was because both parties in the case rejected the Chinese interpreter.

Both defence and prosecution lawyers said that the interpreter,Yun Chin York, who is a Chinese national and a law student, could not give an accurate interpretation due to his understanding of the law.

The lawyers, therefore, for the purposes of fair trial prayed the court for a Ghanaian Chinese interpreter.
