Atebubu 'Gay' teacher nabbed

The suspect, Joshua Baye Gingin is currently in the custody of the Atebubu-Amantin Police after he attempted to have sex with a 19-year-old SHS Student.

A 31-year-old teacher has been arrested by the Police in Atebubu in the Brong Ahafo region for allegedly luring some male students into homosexuality.

The suspect, Joshua Baye Gingin is currently in the custody of the Atebubu-Amantin Police after he attempted to have sex with a 19-year-old SHS Student.

Atebubu-Amantin Police Commander Chief Superintendent Joseph Atsu Dzinaku said his outfit received information that the suspect has been pestering the student to be his friend through social media.

He indicated that the teacher, who admitted that he has been an active homosexual since 2003, has been having anal sex with some unnamed students and indigenes.

Chief Supt. Joseph Atsu Dzinaku said after receiving the information, the police trailed him and arrested him.

The teacher has since been remanded into Police custody by the Atebubu Amantin court.

He has been scheduled to appear before the court next Tuesday.
