Liverpool manager to face owner in crunch meeting to explain failure

Liverpool manager, Brendan Rodgers has been summoned to a crunch meeting with owners of the club to explain why he failed this season

 

The future of Liverpool manager, Brendan Rodgers will be decided at a crunch face to face meeting between the Irish coach and Fenway Sports Group, owners of the club.

Principal owner John W Henry, chairman Tom Werner and director Mike Gordon will be grilling Rodgers in the meting to know the reasons why Liverpool failed this season.

Despite selling star man, Luis Suarez last summer, Liverpool spent £110million on eight players and were expected to challenge for the title and secure a top four finish.

The club did not meet the expectation of the owners and the future of manager Brendan Rodgers is alreayd uncertain.

, Rafael Benitez to return, Rodgers will try to convince the top officials at the meeting which will hold in America, that he is capable of leading the club to their expected goals.
